The role:

As a Business Development Manager, you will be the driving force behind expanding Logista-Speedlink’s presence in the market and play a pivot role in driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients. You will take ownership and responsibility for promoting our specialized delivery services, and positioning Logista-Speedlink as the go-to partner for sameday and express services. This role demands a strategic approach to market penetration, relationship building, and solution-driven sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Business Acquisition:
  • Strategically prospect, approach, and acquire new customers.
  • Leverage industry insights to identify potential client segments and devise targeted outreach strategies.
  • Network with key stakeholders to expand the customer base.
  • Market Penetration:
  • Conduct in-depth market research to uncover trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement initiatives that increase brand visibility, awareness and demand for Logista-Speedlink’s delivery solutions.
  • Position Logista-Speedlink as a trusted partner by articulating the value and reliability of our services in a competitive market.
  • Relationship Building and Account Growth:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to ensure high satisfaction and client retention.
  • Engage in continuous communication with clients to anticipate evolving needs and adapt our solutions accordingly.
  • Identify and act on up- and cross-sell opportunities to maximize client lifetime value.
  • Tailored Solution Selling:
  • Create and present customized service proposals that address specific client challenges and logistics needs.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts with a focus on delivering mutual value and sustainable partnerships.
  • Offer consultative insights to clients, becoming their trusted advisor in logistical solutions and express deliveries.
  • CRM and Reporting:
  • Maintain up-to-date records of leads, accounts and sales activities in Salesforce.
  • Use CRM analytics to refine engagement strategies and improve client targeting.
  • Regularly report on sales performance and pipeline progression, adjusting tactics as necessary to achieve sales goals.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Healthcare, Logistics, or related field.
  • Experience: Demonstrated success in a business development or sales role, ideally within (time critical) logistics.
  • Skills:
  • Proven expertise in building and closing high-value, strategic partnerships.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a consultative selling approach.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for understanding customer needs.
  • Personal Attributes: Highly motivated, goal-driven, resilient and adaptable in a dynamic sales environment.
