Job Description:

SANDEMANs Tours, a leading tour company, is seeking English-speaking tour guides to join our team in Amsterdam. This position is ideal for freelancers who are passionate about sharing the history and hidden stories of Amsterdam with visitors from around the world. As a tour guide, you will have the opportunity to lead both our popular city free tours.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct informative and engaging city free tours in English, showcasing Amsterdam’s rich history and hidden stories.
• Knowledge of any other tours is a plus.
• Provide historical, cultural, and mysterious insights about the city's landmarks and lesser-known areas.
• Interact in a friendly and professional manner with visitors, ensuring an enjoyable and memorable experience.
• Stay updated on events and activities in Amsterdam to provide recommendations to visitors.

Requirements:

• Fluency in English, with exceptional verbal communication skills.
• Passion for history, culture, and tourism.
• Excellent storytelling abilities and the ability to captivate an audience.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work independently as a freelance guide.
• Having a guiding license is a plus but not mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of Dutch is a plus but not required.

Pay: €40,00 - €70,00 per hour
