We are currently looking for an Account Operations Lead who is responsible for supporting the operational unit with meeting customer requirements and needs. The role will be acting as a liaison between Halal customers and unit's operations regarding day-to-day operational activities. He/she will monitor, maintain inspect and develop Gate Gourmet's internal business processes to ensure reliable delivery of services to all Halal flights.

The role requires both an operational and hands-on mentality to advise in streamlining operational and tactical processes. The role reports with a dotted line to the Commercial Director.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervising the implementation in a quantitative and qualitative sense and checking progress, following recipes, working procedures and recorded specifications.
• Receiving and handling questions, complaints, etc.; solving problems and correcting deviations and irregularities.
• Performs regular random checks and ensures follow-up of action plans.
• Analyzing work processes from goods receipt to delivery on board.
• Has a free role within the organization and works closely with the account management team to manage.
• Ensure proper use of equipment, storage areas and resource in line with customer’s specifications.
• Works closely together with al unit teams to ensuring teams have a continuous knowledge of current and future menu cycles.
• Develop and maintain a good, professional working relationship with both customer and internal staff.
• Participating in commercial projects from concept to implementation.
• Executing price lists, check specification files, manage key events schedules.
• Acts as a project manager to prevent from and reoccurrence on Crew Comments and Customer complaints.
• Identifies issues at an early stage, supports operations, suggests process improvements and makes a difference in the day-to-day operation.
• Responsible for developing and maintaining a good, professional working relationship with both customer and internal staff, establishing a clear line of communication at all levels.
• Ensures that all involved disciplines are updated on all type of customer aircrafts and ensures to have current loading diagrams and configurations embedded in the organization.
• Takes a proactive position in ensuring that quality service standards, unit hygiene, HACCP, billing accuracy, and inventories are maintained at the highest level. Periodic customer feedback survey on each aspect of the role — communication, inventory management, Quality cost management/invoice accuracy, and customer service orientation.
• Ensures all inventories for equipment meet customer requirements.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree with a commercial background
• Min. 2 years' experience in customer service environment and managing (cross-)functional team.
• Good command of the English and (preferably) Dutch language in word and writing.
• Analytical skills
• Good practical problem-solving skills at operational level.
• Someone that understands processes and could improvement one if needed.

• A salary between €3.878,88 and €4.399,99 gross per month based on a fulltime employment and your experience.
