We are seeking a motivated an ambitious Chargehand and to join a Data Centre project based in North Holland on a rotation basis.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and drive a proportion of the overall site team to meet with all project scope requirements and targets.

Maintaining a high standard of Quality on site i.e. Workmanship and Materials installed.

Coordinating and Planning of resources inclusive of labour, materials and sub-contractors when engaged and required.

Ensure the adherence to both legislative and company safety and quality standards.

Prepare relevant reports in line with company policies and practises.

Familiarisation of the Project Specifications - General and Particular specs

Familiar with Electrical Schematics and Layout / General Arrangement Drawings

Ensure the adherence to safety and quality standards on a continuous basis.

Reporting on progress, throughout the project timeline.

Ensure that correct PPE is worn at all times by operatives on site.

Keep the workplace in a tidy manner and free of excess materials.

Plan and execute works in the most productive manner.

Comply with site instructions regarding the formulation and implementation of RAMS - SPA's etc

Key Requirements

Completed all Phases 1-7 of SOLAS Apprenticeship - FETAC Level 6

Successful in Senior Trades exams

At least 2 years post Senior Trades qualification working as an Electrician.

Strong communication skills with fluency in both written and spoken English.

Strong Electrical Experience working with an Electrical contractor.

Good Computer skills in word, excel etc.

Ideally the Electrical Chargehand will possess experience within the following sectors including pharmaceutical, industrial, semiconductor, clean room, labs, hospitals, data centres, etc.

Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment.

Ability to form part of the management team on a large-scale project.
