Goede sfeer en toffe managers maar...

Op de eerste trainingsdag misten ze een paar dingen die ik zelf moest uitzoeken. Je moet heel snel zijn om op tijd klaar te zijn. De geschatte levertijden zijn onrealistisch, er zijn altijd te veel pakketten in verhouding tot hoe lang je dienst duurt, dus je blijft 80% van de tijd langer

Zelf had ik er plezier bij om mensen blij te maken met het leveren van hun pakket (ookal is dit gevoel meestal eenzijdig). Begin COVID nam de werkdruk erg toe en is sindsdien niet meer gedaald. Betaald prima, maar verwacht niet te veel.

Best eenvoudig werk, maar er zijn nog flink wat dingen op aan te merken

Pakketbezorger (voormalige medewerker) - Zwolle - 2 augustus 2023

Het werk zelf is best prima en afwisselend. Wel krijg je per pakketje betaald waardoor je constant een druk voelt om alles heel snel te bezorgen. Je wordt niet beloond voor het zorgvuldig afleveren van een pakketje. Het systeem houd geen rekening met de tijd die nodig is om de pakketjes uit te laden, naar de deur te lopen en te wachten tot iemand opendoet (wat de helft van de keren niet eens gebeurd). Ik heb ook meer begrip gekregen voor DHL bezorgers die je pakketjes altijd voor je deur leggen of over het hek flikkeren en wegrijden. Ook krijg je geen tijd en gelegenheid voor pauzes. Als je wil eten of drinken gaat dit dus ten koste van je loon en als je moet plassen zul je moeten improviseren en een boete riskeren of iemand bij wie je moet bezorgen lief aankijken. Verder is het best een prima bedrijf. Op locatie merk je dat de sfeer er eigenlijk nooit goed in zit, maar daar heb je als bezorger dan gelukkig geen last van.

Hoge werkdruk, geen waardering.

Terminal operator (voormalige medewerker) - Zwolle - 10 juli 2023

Heb hier 3 jaar gewerkt, tot ik op een gegeven moment bij de overflow word neergezet. Als je collegas het bij de normale banen niet volhouden stroomt alles naar jou toe, dan moet je ook nog non-conveyables uitlopen die niet over de band kunnen. Dan kreeg ik naast de overflow en de non-conveyables ook nog 5-10 banen tegelijkertijd tot mijn verantwoordelijkheid en dan nog hebben ze het lef om bij jou te komen zeuren dat je harder moet werken. Terwijl de rest enkel 3-5 banen heeft. Met andere woorden het maakt niet uit hoe hard je werkt, je word niet gewaardeert en zelfs afgeblaft. Toen ik daar was vertrokken hoorde ik van ex-collegas dat het werk dat ik in mijn eentje deed nu door 3 of 4 man werd gedaan. Wat je ook doet, sloof jezelf zo min mogelijk uit hier want ze maken misbruik van je. Je nabije collegas zijn over het algemeen wel oke.

Leuke collega’s wel altijd kritisch naar de managers toe

Leuke sfeer , vaak wel hoog tempo met werken . Soms te veel leveringen in je routes of tussendoor even extra Pick ups doen en geen pauze . Dagen dat ook juist rustig zijn. Wel slechte communicatie met supervisor en medewerkers. Vaak zelf aan de bel trekken voor hulp en steun . Het is een bedrijfscultuur van alles gewoon doen en uitproberen .

Meeloopdag is onbetaald & was een volle dag (9-17). DHL formuleert dit vanaf hun platform als een meeloopdag van +/- 3 uur. Slechte ervaringen gehad met verdere werkdagen & ook in mijn proefmaand opgezegd. Ik raad dit andere mensen niet aan, omdat de werkdruk achterlijk hoog is & je verder ook niet veel positiefs kan verwachten.

Wat een slechte werkgever… ik moet met 31 graden zonder airco gaan werken en een bus die van alle kanten niet deugd, lekke banden, geen airco, deuren die je met een zelfgemaakt touw moet openen enzovoort. Begin hier ook niet met een 0 uren contract zodra er geen werk is wordt je een halfuur van te voren gebeld dat je niet hoeft te komen en je krijgt er geen minuut voor uitbetaald. Je hebt haast geen pauze en de werkdruk is erg hoog.
