About the team:
At Arcavindi, our Facilities Team helps create a workspace that’s safe, welcoming, and ready for the day ahead. Based at our Netherlands site, we support every department by keeping communal areas, operational spaces, and staff facilities clean, hygienic, and well stocked.

About the role:
As a Facilities Operative (Cleaning), you’ll be at the heart of our daily operations. You’ll take ownership of keeping our workspaces and communal areas clean, organised, and well-presented, while also supporting kitchen duties and basic food prep when required.

Your contribution helps ensure our environment is safe, hygienic, and a genuinely great place to work from spotless restrooms and tidy break areas to clean, well-run kitchen spaces that support the team throughout the day. This is a hands-on role where reliability, attention to detail, and pride in your work really matter.

Key Responsibilities


Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out daily cleaning of workspaces, communal areas, restrooms, and kitchen facilities to agreed standards.
  • Carry out regular spot checks of the high traffic areas ie: bathrooms throughout the day and ensure cleanliness at all times.
  • Maintain the external cleanliness of the property including exterior windows, landscaping etc
  • Refill and maintain cleaning supplies, soap dispensers, paper products, and other hygiene essentials.
  • Maintain tidy storage areas for cleaning materials and kitchen supplies, keeping everything secure and organised.
  • Assist in basic food preparation, such as washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
  • Ensure kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces are cleaned and sanitised in line with food safety standards.
  • Operate dishwashers and/or wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen items manually when needed.
  • Receive, check, and store kitchen or facilities deliveries safely, ensuring correct stock rotation.
  • Dispose of waste correctly, including recycling and food waste, following site procedures.
    • Report hazards, hygiene concerns, or maintenance issues promptly to the Facilities Manager.
Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Previous experience in a cleaning, kitchen, or facilities support role (preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene standards.
  • Ability to follow instructions, prioritise tasks, and work efficiently in a busy environment.
  • Reliable, proactive, and detail-focused, with pride in doing things properly.
  • Friendly, approachable attitude and strong teamwork skills.
  • Comfortable in a physically active role involving standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive tasks.
